Funeral services for  Carol Jean (Kidney) Herman, 101, of rural Glidden, will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Pleasant Ridge Evangelical Free Church near Glidden.  Burial will be in the Merle Hay Memorial Cemetery near Glidden.

     Visitation will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden from 5 – 7 P.M. on Friday.  The casket will be moved to Pleasant Ridge Church at 9:30 A.M. on Saturday where visitation will resume until 10:15 A.M. prior to the service.

     Carol is survived by her husband Wayne Herman of Glidden; a daughter Lois Kail (David) of Concord, CA; two sons: Guy Kidney (Joy) of West Des Moines and Vey Kidney (Pam) of Greenwood, IN.  Carol is also survived by Wayne’s children: Philip Herman (Pam) of Des Moines, Keith Herman (Beth) of Reliance, SD, Nathan Herman (Tisha) of Reliance, SD, Renee Olsen (Andy) of DeKalb, IL, and Russell Herman (Laura) of Boise, ID. Between Wayne and Carol they have twenty-nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  Carol also has several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
