The Panora Women’s Service Organization (WSO) is getting ready for one of their annual events.

Treasurer Barb Halupnik says that they are hosting their Holiday Luncheon Fundraiser at noon at the Faith Bible Church in Panora on Friday. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio more about the event.

“This fundraiser has been going on for a lot of years, I can’t tell you just exactly how long before I ever joined. And it has been just kind of a community thing, and a great time to get together and a good fundraiser to get money for our donations that we give.”

Halupnik mentions that there will be individual gifts given out at the fundraiser, along with the opportunity to win different raffle prizes. She adds that they started with 140 $20 tickets to attend the luncheon, and have about 25 left, so that there is still an opportunity to get one and attend the event.
