The Panorama Panther boys wrestling team kick off the 2024-25 season as the Panthers travel to Nodaway Valley Middle School Gym for the first taste of competitive wrestling action. The Panthers will battle against Coon Rapids-Bayard and Nodaway Valley.

This year’s Panther squad consist of five seniors: Laine Christe at 112, Joel Cooper at 285, Landon Kirtley at 138, Will Knapp at 150, and Gabe Wagner at 155. Last year, Cooper represented Panorama at the state championship. Cooper placed first at 285 at the district meet in Ogden last year after defeating Alta/Aurelia’s Angel Barajas by fall.

Panther wrestling starts tonight as Cooper and the Panther squad start the journey towards qualifying for the state championship as wrestling action officially commences for the Panther boys.
