The first girl/boy basketball doubleheader of the season is tonight for Paton-Churdan. The Rockets face Boyer Valley in Rolling Valley Activities Conference play with the girls at 6 o’clock and the boys to follow.

The P-C girls are 0-1 while tonight marks the start of the season for the boys. It’s also the head coaching debut for Josh Cervany, who is a veteran Iowa high school basketball coach, but this is his first head coaching opportunity.
