
Last night, the Panorama Panthers hosted the Woodward-Granger Hawks and defeated the Hawks 62-48. Now sitting at 2-0 so far this season, the Panther girls basketball team has kick off the 2024-25 season on a high note, picking up a 63-51 victory of Creston in the season opener and now defeating Woodward-Granger 62-48.
Both teams started slow, but the Panthers had more fire, holding the Hawks to only 14 points in the first half while score 22 in the first half. With an eight point lead coming out of the halftime break, both teams begin to score in the double digit points, and although Panorama be outscored by the Hawks in the fourth quarter 23-22, the damage was already done as the Panthers scored 18 in the third to secure a 62-48 victory.
Panther girls basketball is back in action on Thursday as Panorama hosts IKM-Manning for double header action. The girls are set to begin at 6:15pm.
