Paton-Churdan was at home last night vs. Boyer Valley in Rolling Valley Activities Conference play. The visiting team won the girls’ game 68-17 and took the boys’ game, 79-41.

The boys’ game was the first of the season for both teams, and the first as a head coach for Josh Cerveny of the Rockets. The coach reports his team played a hard fought contest “We can build on this, but need to start building some depth,” he said. Cayden Stream had 12 points w,ith 11 points and 11 rebounds for Bryce Stephenson. Trevon Keely had nine points and eight rebounds. Keely and Phoenix Hartman both fouled. out. Brody Koski had 18 points and Michael Davis 16 for Boyer Valley.

The girls’ game saw Kaliyah Minnihan score 15 of the Rockets’ 17 points. Five BV players scored in double figures led by 15 points from Lorgan Hast.  The Rockets fell to 0-2 overall and 0-1 in the league.
