On Monday the Wildcat basketball teams hosted their first double header of the season as both Wildcat teams battled against the Lamoni Demons. The Wildcat girls picked up a 53-36 win while the boys would follow, defeating the Demons 49-43.

The Wildcat girls would have to battle back, as Lamoni would outscore West Central Valley by 10 in the first quarter resulting in a 16-6 score. The Wildcats would have a run of their own in the second quarter scoring 18 points to take a one point lead going into the half. Coming back from the halftime the Wildcats would hold the lead and never look back, scoring 17 points in the third and 12 in the fourth while holding the Demons to only 13 points in the half. The Wildcats would bounce back from the 10 point deficit to claim a 53-36.
