An international organization invites the public to Dallas Center tomorrow to showcase houses with a holiday theme.

Beta Sigma Phi member Pam German tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the group is inviting people to explore four homes in Dallas Center that will be decked out in holiday decor. She describes that Beta Sigma Phi is an international service organization, whose purpose is to promote friendship and cultural development. German details the four types of homes people can explore.

“An older home that’s been in the family for (the) fifth generation (of) family members that live in the home now. And another home that celebrates its 100th birthday this year, and then one of the homes is a newer home, and then the last house is an old church that’s been converted into a wedding chapel.”

German outlines that the event has been going on for approximately 15 years as a way to show off homes in the Dallas Center while raising money to give back to the community. She notes that tickets can be purchased ahead of time from the Dallas Center Library or the Board and Batten for $15. Additionally, The Suites, 1400 Walnut Street, in Dallas Center will have tickets available tomorrow during the event. The Beta Sigma Phi Holiday Home Tour will take place from 11am-3pm.
