The City of Minburn is gearing up to host a holiday experience for families tomorrow.

The public is encouraged to stop by Minburn’s Celebrating Christmas Cheer event that will run all day with several activities. According to Minburn Library Director Abigail Embree, the organization is welcoming kids into the Jingle Bell Store from 10am-noon.

“And it’s where kids in the community can come pick out presents for their family members, get them wrapped, or placed in one of those bags with tissue paper, so that they can give one to their family members a gift for Christmas this year.”

Embree details that the festivities will continue in the evening at 5pm with the lighting of the Nativity Scene and carol singing at Meek Park. Following that, a free-will soup supper will be at the Minburn Methodist Church from 5:30-7:30pm where kids will have an opportunity to visit with Santa and get a free balloon creation, and all donations will help benefit the Minburn Public Library.
