Perry basketball returned two starters from last year’s squad.  One of which is senior Geren Kenney.  The Bluejay is hopeful to score his 1,000 varsity point this year.  “I want to get to 1,000 points.  I have 275 away so that’s my main goal for individual goal I guess.”  Kenney has been a staple for Perry starting 19 games in his freshman year and scoring 143 points.  His role has grown each season.  As a sophomore, he led the team in scoring with 267 points.  He found another level last year as he had a team high 305 points.  The senior is off to a quick start as he’s transitioned into a lead guard role for this team. Through the first 3 games he has scored 77 points.

We will have more from Geren Kenney tomorrow on the Raccoon Valley Bank Dallas County PM Sports Mag on KDLS at 6P.
