The schedule grows tougher this week for Perry girls basketball. The Jayettes will match up with two top 10 teams this week. Perry plays host to PCM tomorrow night. The Mustangs are predicted to be one of the top teams in the Heart of Iowa Conference this year. The Mustangs are ranked 9th in the Iowa Girls High School Basketball Rankings for 3A. The other game this week will see the Jayettes hit the road for the first time. Perry will be in Story City to take on Roland-Story this Friday. The Norsemen are the reigning Heart of Iowa Champs and are ranked 5th in the 3A polls. Perry lost all four contests against Roland-Story and PCM last season. The Jayettes averaged just 17.5 ppg in those games.
Perry is coming off their first loss of the season Friday night against West Marshall, 54-24.
Conference play resumes tomorrow night on Dan Marburger Court as PCM comes to Perry for a girl/boy doubleheader
