Funeral services for Donald A. Akers, 74, of Exira, will be held at 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Exira.  Following his funeral service, a luncheon will be held at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church Parish Center in Exira. Interment will be held at a later date in Exira Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be held one hour before the funeral at the funeral home on Wednesday.
