The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Basketball teams will be on the road for both of their games this week, with tonight’s matchup in Carroll.
It will be a battle of the Tigers as ADM will play their second Raccoon River Conference game of the 2024-25 season. ADM girls dropped the first conference game versus the second-seeded North Polk Comets on Friday 60-35, and is sitting at 2-3 overall as they look to rebound tonight. It’s a pretty even series between ADM and Carroll (ADM leads 19-18) as Madelyn Roundcount hit a three pointer at the buzzer to tie the game and propel ADM to an overtime victory the previous matchup on February 9th in Adel.
The boys are off to a 2-0 start with wins over Dallas Center-Grimes 84-81 in OT, and North Polk, 64-48. Tiger junior Hudson Lorensen has led in scoring through the first couple of games, with outings of 29 and 26. ADM leads the historical series 24-12, including winning the last three games.
The girls will start at 6pm, with the boys to follow at approximately 7:30pm. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF, starting around 5:45pm.
