The Stuart City Council met in regular session Monday night.

The Council approved the fourth pay estimate for the 2023 Sanitary Sewer Project, after hearing from Forrest Aldrich of Veenstra and Kimm that the project is nearing completion, with 85 percent of sewer lines in the southern half of Stuart being serviced. They also approved annual contributions to Midwest Partnership ($1,875) and Region XII Council of Governments ($1,000), appointed Neil Crawford to the Utility Board, then heard from Stuart Economic Development Director Matt Funk on his monthly report.
