Today will be the finale of a winter event that benefits small businesses in the City of Perry.
Residents will have one last opportunity to shop at local businesses for the Perry Chamber of Commerce’s Peppermint Walk. Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti outlines that people are welcome to stop by any of the 26 businesses that are participating, pick up a passport, and get it stamped at three separate locations. She emphasizes the importance of shopping locally as a great way to buy gifts for the holidays.
“Supporting them during this time. Buy those gift cards, get those last minute gifts, and punch your passport along the way. So, if you’re already going grocery shopping, if you’re already popping into Eye Care Associates to get your glasses, there’s just different opportunities. If you’re dining out over the full course of a week, surely you can make it around to three places. And so, it should be really and it’s just a fun way to highlight local businesses.”
Pasutti instructs people to turn in their passports once it’s been stamped at three businesses at either the Last Stop or at the chamber office. She notes that the winner will qualify for a drawing for Perry Bucks. A full list of businesses that are participating can be found below.
