
The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session on Tuesday.
The board will review and possibly take action on multiple budget funding requests for fiscal year 2026, including the Dallas County Library Association, the Dallas County Fair Board, the Housing Trust Fund Authority, the Heart of Iowa Regional Transit Agency, Aging Resources, and the Dallas County Development Alliance.
Items on the agenda seeking approval include ambulance quotes for the Dallas County Emergency Management Services (EMS), a canopy repair and replacement plus a resolution for a Central Iowa Detention 28E agreement for the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, a resolution to award a bid for the County Road F90 paving project, a resolution to designate the first assistant county attorney, and resolutions to appoint a weed commissioner and township trustees.
The board will continue discussions on several capital projects relating to the newly proposed criminal court building with the Secondary Roads Administration addition, courthouse renovations, and the evidence storage building and firing range. Also, the board will have a Local Option Sales and Services Tax bond funding workshop, a monthly EMS report, an update from the Secondary Roads Department, a Wetland Bank Phase two update, and a Central Iowa Workforce Development update.
The meeting is taking place inside the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room, 800 Court Street, in Adel Tuesday morning at 9am.
