Christmas is two days away as the Perry community is cooking up a delicious meal for residents.
The community of Perry is holding their annual Christmas Dinner on Wednesday at the Elks Lodge, 2823 Willis Avenue. Organizer Deb Miller tells Raccoon Valley Radio that people can pick up a free meal of ham, turkey, pork loin, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, dressing, rolls, salads, and desserts on Christmas Day from 11am to 1:30pm.
She notes that this is the 19th year the community of Perry has been holding the dinner and that no volunteers are needed at this time. In addition to picking up free meals, people can call for delivery options, as Miller suggests that larger orders be called in earlier. To place an order, call the Perry Elks Lodge at (515)-465-3791.
