
On Thursday the West Central Valley Wildcat girls wrestling team traveled to Woodward-Granger High School for the West Central Activities Conference girls wrestling meet. The Wildcat ladies battled and placed fourth overall as a team, with Elizabeth Handy and Willow Ray placing first representing West Central Valley.
At 110, Elizabeth Handy would defeat Natalie Waltz of Panorama by fall in 3:01. In the 130 weight class, Willow Ray defeated Tori Alexander of Ogden by fall in 4:42 to claim first place. The Wildcats would also have three second place finishes, with Jazabella Morse at 105, Rhowen Miller at 135, and Elyzah Olson at 235.
This was the last meet of the 2024 year for the Lady Wildcats as they claim 4th place at the WCAC girls wrestling tournament.
