The AC/GC Chargers boys wrestling team took part in the Carroll Tigers Invitational.

The Chargers ended up taking 6th place out of 11 teams. Gavin Sloss and Ty Ganzer both place first in their respective weight classes, with Lane Stringer and Jackson Pfrang placing second in their weight classes.

Sloss received a bye in the quarterfinals for the 132 weight class, then took down Owen Nepple of Kemper Catholic by fall in the semifinals and Owen Scott of Westwood by fall in the 1st place match. Ganzer beat Ryker Doebel of Storm Lake in the 138 quarterfinals, Jacob Harmeyer of Greene County in the semifinals and Jarett Prichard of Westwood in the 1st place match, all by fall.

Stringer won his quarterfinals match against Jayden Bradley of Denison-Schleswig by medical forfeit, then beat Jorge Casilas of Storm Lake by fall, and lost in the 144 weight class 1st place match to Caden Spetman of OABCIG by decision. Pfrang wrestled in the 175 weight class, beating Javier Medina of Denison-Schleswig by decision in the quarterfinals, then took down Ramon Rodriguez of Storm Lake by decision in the semifinals, and fell to Kieran Polking of Carroll in the 1st place match. Angel Martinez and Chase Slaybaugh both placed 5th in their respective weight classes. Full results can be seen below.
