Perry boys wrestling has competed in their final competition of 2024. The first half of the season has been up and down for the Bluejays. Head Coach, Chris Dardanes, knows the next few weeks are very tough for his squad with no school and the holidays. “It’s Tough. This sport is demanding in many many different ways but then you get the sweets and the family environments and you’re like oh all right I’m living a little bit differently then the rest of my family here in. It’s mostly trying to see them everyday obviously we’re going to give him some time off.” The Bluejays will continue to practice with the hope to stay fresh when the season returns in 2025.
Competitions are on hold until January 9th when Perry will host Greene County and Nevada for a Heart of Iowa Conference Triangular.
