Registration is soon coming to an end for an annual winter event in the Perry community.
Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the 48th annual Bike Ride to Rippey, or BRR, is taking place on Saturday, February 1st. She encourages all interested riders to sign up with the earlybird registration that is currently open. Pasutti acknowledges that participants can register on the day of the ride, but she prefers getting the materials ahead of time.
“We will be mailing out packets again, so it’s a nice way to have all of the information in advance. It’s also nice to get your shirt that much earlier and not have to deal with the chaos of ‘day of (registration)’, where so many people are there, and it’s just a nice way to save a few extra bucks.”
Pasutti describes that BRR is the biggest fundraiser that the chamber does every year as it attracts individuals from all around the world. She mentions that there is no limit to the number of people that can sign up and the cost for earlybird registration is $40, which is good through this coming Tuesday at midnight, then will increase. The link to register is available by clicking here. Any questions can be directed to the Perry Chamber of Commerce at (515)-465-4601.
