In their December meeting, the Panorama School Board was able to hear some good news from around the district.

Superintendent Kasey Huebner says that there was quite a bit of good news to be shared, including that the high school’s Esports team had won their first competition, and was looking forward to more progress as that activity develops and improves. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the high school student council also was part of the good news shared.

“Our student council has also been pretty active here. They, you know, just trying to give back a little bit, they helped the lunch staff serve food to everyone. So that was kind of fun to see, those kids getting their hands dirty and serving their classmates food.”

Huebner mentions that classroom teacher Nicole Dorhout’s class has also been making trips to Lakeside Village, and this month the students and residents painted portraits of each other. He adds that the dance team also did well at the State Dance Competition, bringing home two first place finishes.
