The AC/GC Chargers boys wrestling team is enjoying the winter break, while also preparing for the second part of the season.

Head Coach Lane Rumelhart mentions that the team has been performing well, with the team remaining ranked in the top 24 teams for their class, coming in at 23rd as of the most recent rankings. He mentions that the first part of the season has had some ups and a few downs, as there are guys recovering from illnesses and a couple injuries, with others still cutting weight to get to their ideal weight class. Rumelhart shares that even with having three to five open weight classes per competition so far, the Chargers are 6-3 in duals on the season, with their most recent quadrangular ending in a sweep for the team. He adds that even with the break, the guys are continuing to push themselves to get where they want to be, and compete for a chance at regionals and state competition not just on the individual level, but the team level as well.
