The Dallas County Conservation Board will be holding a brand new event before the new year.

The conservation board is inviting people out to “A Night at Forest Park Museum,” happening Monday evening from 6-8pm. Dallas County Outreach Coordinator Jeni Baker tells Raccoon Valley Radio that guests will participate in a self-guided tour of the Forest Park Museum, at 14581 K Avenue, in Perry that will feature artifacts pertaining to the museum’s history.

In addition to learning about the museum, Baker explains that people can create fun crafts and play games that Naturalist Allie Ditmer will have on display. She describes that this is the first year the conservation board is doing the program, and that the organization wants to teach the public about the cool aspects the museum has to offer.
