An essential business for Dallas County residents is making changes to one of their main campuses ahead of the new year.
Dallas County Hospital’s Public Relations Marketing and Foundation Director Tom Harmsen explains that the organization houses three locations throughout central Iowa in Perry, Dallas Center, and Panora. He highlights that a new service that the hospital is bringing to Dallas Center is Department of Transportation Physicals to help certify individuals to be medically cleared to operate vehicles.
Additionally, Harmsen acknowledges that psychiatry is a newer area that Dallas Center has been testing about two days a month with Dr. Neeraja Kakade, as well as placing bilingual staff members in the front office to better assist patients. Harmsen is proud of the improvements they’ve made in 2024 and look forward to keep growing in 2025.
