The AC/GC Chargers basketball teams are sitting pretty so far this season, and AC/GC is one of only four schools in the state who has both basketball teams undefeated on the year.

The Chargers girls basketball team headed into break with a 6-0 record, and being ranked 15th in Class 2A. The boys team headed into break with a 5-0 record. Both teams have been doing well, usually starting games close, but then putting on the jets and pumping up the score to take the game. The girls average 56.5 points while allowing 34.2, and the boys average a whopping 80.2 points while allowing 51.8. Both teams are looking at a tough stretch coming out of the winter break as well, with their first to games being against Des Moines Christian and Madrid the first full week of January. Both games will be played in Guthrie Center, and broadcast by the Raccoon Valley Radio Sports Network.
