The West Central Valley School Board finished a project at their December meeting.
Superintendent Rusty Shockley says that the final touches for the athletic complex parking lot were on the agenda for the meeting, and tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the Board made a decision on the items.
“That’s been a project going almost, ongoing for almost a year now. So we approved the final pay app and the resolution accepting the work. So that project is now officially complete.”
Shockley mentions that the project saw the parking lot be turned from gravel to pavement, along with finishing paving the high school’s north parking lot. He adds there were a few things that had to be fixed between the beginning of the school year and the December meeting, but that everything was finally to the district’s liking.
