A golfer from Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School is making the decision to stay in Iowa to pursue his collegiate sports career.

ADM senior Carter Madison has recently announced that he’ll be attending Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs to follow his passion of golf. During the 2023-24 season, Madison averaged 39.29 for the 9-Hole Adjusted Average and 78.59 for the 18-Hole Adjusted Average.

As a team, the Tigers hovered around 154.50 for the 9-Hole Average and 303.14 for the 18-Hole Average as they went on to win the Class 3A State Championship on May 21st for the first time in school history. Madison will try to help ADM win two titles as he’ll play his senior season in the spring before graduating.
