The Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs boys basketball team are just a week away from resuming action, as they are scheduled to travel to Norwalk to take on the Warriors upon their return on the seventh. Coach Joel Rankin expressed how the break was necessary for his boys, but now the focus will be on cardio this week to get the Mustangs back into game shape.
Coach Rankin expressed how thankful he is for senior Tate Perrin on this Mustang squad. Rankin said,” he’s been an outstanding leader for us. With so many new faces and young, inexperienced players, he’s kind of a coach on the floor. He’s done a tremendous job leadership wise so I definitely give him props.”
The Mustang boys are back in action in a week, as the Mustangs travel to Norwalk for double header action against the Warriors.
