Perry boys basketball can claim they have one of the top rebounders in the state.  Geren Kenney leads 3A in rebounds this season.  The senior has gobbled up 90 boards in 7 games.  On a per game average, that’s 12.9 a night good for third in 3A.  Kenney has a season high of 18 against Saydel on December 17.  He’s also had a double double in 6 of the first 7 games.  The rate of rebounds is impressive for anyone, but compound that with Geren only being 6’3″.

The Bluejays return to the court Friday as they host the top team in the Heart of Iowa Conference.
