The Panorama School Board approved updating some of the district’s technology at their December meeting.
Superintendent Kasey Huebner says that the Board approved to update their computer servers, telling Raccoon Valley Radio that the ones that were being used were becoming outdated.
“Our licenses were up so it was time to update all that infrastructure so we approved that for the next three years.”
Huebner mentions that this allows the district to start a payment plan for the new servers. He adds that the new servers will help keep computers and technology running smoothly in the district’s buildings. The servers will be paid for using Physical Plant and Equipment Levy funds, not from the district’s general fund.
