A player from the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School Bowling Team is appreciative of his coach’s commitment to build a tight-knit group.
ADM junior Cole Darling expresses that he’s been loving the fact that he’s having an opportunity to bowl alongside his friends in Adel. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio that while he enjoyed his time partnering with Waukee High School for his first two years, it’s nice to play the sport in his own community. Darling shares that Boys Head Coach Jason Kilker is doing a great job with building a strong team dynamic.
“He’s definitely helped us a lot with the team aspect. The bigger games, we’re doing good on this year, as of last year we didn’t do quite as well as we wanted to, but this year, I like our team chemistry this year and our coaches really helped and put that together.”
Darling has a simple goal of performing to the best of his ability in every meet to ultimately assist the team in cranking out wins. ADM will be seeking their third consecutive win as they return to the Adel Family Fun Center on Monday, taking on Pella Christian at 4pm.
