The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Basketball teams are preparing for a road conference game tonight against Gilbert.

It will be a battle of the Tigers as ADM will be seeking another Raccoon River Conference win. The girls have matched their win total of last year under first year Head Coach Danielle Craig, as they sit at 7-3, while the boys are 6-2. This will be ADM’s first time seeing Gilbert this season, as senior Kelli Storck leads the charge averaging 10.6 points per game, while Gilbert’s senior Ella Henningsen is close to 16 points per game.

On the boys side, ADM junior Hudson Lorensen is just shy of averaging 27 points per game, and its Gilbert junior Preston Stensland at 17.7 points per contest. Since 2017, the Gilbert girls led the overall series 9-3 as they’ve taken the past two games, and ADM is ahead for the boys 9-4 overall, winning the last five in the series.

Tip off will happen at 6pm for the girls, with the guys following at approximately 7:30pm. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF, starting at 5:45pm.
