Monday, January 5th

1:05pm: A deputy assisted a motorist on N Avenue and 290th Street.

4:45pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near E Avenue.

5:21pm: A deputy investigated an animal complaint in the 1000 block of East Railroad Street, Grand Junction.

Tuesday, January 6th

6:10am: The Sheriff and deputies assisted by the Jefferson Police Department and the Internet Crimes against children task force conducted a search warrant at 712 South Oak Street, Jefferson for suspected possession of Child pornography. Electronic storage devices were seized. Charges are pending completion of lab results.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
