Junior Morgan Crees currently leads the Panorama Panthers in points for girls basketball, while also currently leading the West Central Activities Conference in points with 179. In second place just under Crees is Joelle Johnson of Pleasantville with 173 points. The Trojans and the Panthers went to battle on Friday night with Pleasantville picking up a 56-47 victory.
While the final score did not go in the Panthers favor, Morgan Crees continued to dominate as she would score 23 points for the Panthers against the Trojans. The Panther defense would be able to contain Joelle Johnson for the Trojans, holding her to 18 points to keep Crees as top scorer for the West Central Activities Conference.
The Panthers look to bounce back from Friday night’s loss as Panorama hosts the Ogden Bulldogs on Friday night for double header basketball action. The girls go to battle first, with tip off scheduled for 6pm.
