The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday.

The Board approved all but two items on the consent agenda, tabling a decision on the payroll change notices for Charles Abel and Casey Jones in the County Attorney’s department until Thursday’s meeting. The Board approved Erica Matthies for the Cass Township Trustee, Brad Hayes for the Zoning Commission, and heard the Veteran Affairs quarterly report from Guthrie County Veterans Affairs Coordinator Beth Watson.

The Board then approved the final pay voucher for the F32 resurfacing project, reviewed a draft of the new dust control policy, and approved a preliminary mental health budget. They also approved resolutions pertaining to establishing a county compensation board, appointing a deputy auditor and tabled a decision on approving the annual financial report including its publication, before discussing valuations of the fiscal year 2025-26 budget and entering into a closed session for the annual employee evaluation for Human Resources Director Jamie Lindsay.
