People wanting to stay active during the winter season can participate in an inside activity with a Perry organization.

The Perry Parks and Recreation Department is inviting adults to sign up for the Second Annual Indoor Soccer League, beginning in February. According to Recreation Coordinator Marco Perla, the league is open to men and women of at least 18 years old. He reveals the department is bringing back a women’s division to include all interested players. Perla emphasizes that the league is available to the first 10 teams that register and the cost is $500 per team. He says that teams need to consist of at least five players, and can’t exceed 12. 

According to Perla, the games will be played at the McCreary Community Building every Saturday at 4pm, beginning February 1st. He announces that the regular season will be eight weeks long, followed by two to three weeks of tournaments. Registration is set to end on Monday at midnight. To sign up for the league, click here.
