Perry basketball will take the court for the first time this week tonight.  Roland-Story makes the trips to Perry for the girl/boy doubleheader.  The Jayettes and Bluejays have been off since last Friday after Tuesday’s game at PCM was postponed.

For the girls, R-S is riding a 7 game winning streak and our tied at the top of the Heart of Iowa Conference.  The Norsemen coasted to a 74-24 victory back on December 13.  Claire Truesdale punished Perry with a game high 22 points.  Roland-Story is not just one of the top teams in conference as they are also in the top 10 in the 3A Polls.

The Bluejays beat the Norsemen for the first time since joining the Heart of Iowa Conference in the first meeting this season, 63-49.  R-S is struggling with a 3-9 record and sit in seventh place in the HOIC.  Perry is coming off a loss last Friday to West Marshall and will look to bounce back in the win column.

Tip off is set for 6P for the girls game and the Raccoon Valley Radio Sports Network will have the Perry Hy Vee Pregame Show at 5:45P.
