The Heart of Iowa Conference Wrestling Meet is this evening at Roland-Story High School.  8 of the 9 members will be there to compete on the boy’s side while just 4 members will be their for the girls.

The boys finished in 4th last year.  Townes Wilson returns as a defending champion in he weight class of 126.  For his junior season, he has bulked up to 144.  Ben Kusar finished in third at last year’s meet in the weight class of 132.  He currently wrestles at 138.  Kain Killmer (190) and Keegan Snyder (215) each brought home golds for Perry in their senior meets, but have since graduated.

The Jayettes finished 3rd last season.  Mercedes Ponce (105) and Ayden Erickson (120) each finished first last year.  Cate Erickson (110) and Amelie Canales (115) each secured second place finishes.

The Heart of Iowa Conference Meet begins at 5P at Roland-Story.
