St. Patrick’s Catholic School in Perry will be hosting a new event this afternoon in anticipation of a celebratory week.

According to Principal Kandice Pattillo, they are welcoming residents out to the debut of Trivia Night, starting at 5:30pm. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the idea came to her as a way to bring the community together, especially after the school shooting that happened at Perry High School last January. Pattillo illustrates that the event is meant to be a fun time playing games and getting to know others in the community. She says food will be provided with a free will donation for hot dogs, chips, and a drink, with the games being centered around a St. Patrick’s Catholic School style jeopardy. The Trivia Night is free and open to the public.
