The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Bowling Teams continue to pile up wins with the latest ones against Bondurant-Farrar.
The Tigers hosted the Bluejays this past Thursday, where the girls won 1885-1793, and the boys were victorious 2993-2657. Top three bowlers for the girls included freshman Rhylea Fuquey with a high series of 313, freshman Keira Duff (268 high series), and sophomore Kaylee Dorwart (259 high series). On the boys side, senior Owen Evans bowled his season high of 513, followed by junior Colby Simons (411 high series), and junior Cole Darling (380 high series).
The Tiger girls are now on a four-game winning streak, while the boys have won their last six. Even though the boys lost their initial three games, Head Coach Jason Kilker tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the team never became discouraged.
“They’ve kept their heads up, they’re staying focused. Sometimes there’s frustrations with how the nights go, but they stay focused and they are able to turn the page, and just keep closing out frames, and then at the end of the day, that’s the main point.”
ADM girls are now 4-5 on the season, as the boys improve to 6-3. The Tigers will now have this week to prepare for a Saturday matchup in Des Moines against Norwalk, at Air Lanes Bowling Center at 9am.
