Basketball action resumes tonight for the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs basketball teams as they travel to Newton High School for conference double header basketball action. The girls take the floor first, with tip off scheduled for 6pm.

On the Raccoon Valley Bank Dallas County, PM Sports page last night, head coach for the Mustang boys Joel Rankin expressed his excitment for playing in Newton tonight. “There’s no tougher place in our conference to play than Newton. They play really well there. They shoot really well. They’re very well coached. They have five guys that move the ball so well and do what they do very well. ”

Mustang basketball in double header conference play kicks off with the girls, with tip off scheduled at 6pm. Coverage begins on KDLS2 at 5:45pm.
