Typical set of dice for Dungeons and Dragons

The Stuart Public Library began a Saturday morning Dungeons and Dragons Club for youths earlier this month.

Library Director Lisa Sherman says that the club was actually started at the Dexter Public Library, but that after it closed due to needing their own library director, they needed a new meeting place. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that they picked it up and that the group has been having a good time, with some new members joining them, with one individual taking her by surprise.

“So there’s one young member in particular that runs the show, I guess I would call it. He’s very mature for his age. He’s very well organized, (and) welcoming. It’s a fantastic, fun thing for teenagers to do.”

Sherman mentions that the club is for 13-18 year olds, and meets every Saturday from 9:15-11:45am.
