
The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Basketball teams will hit the road to Huxley to take on a Raccoon River Conference opponent in Ballard tonight.
ADM is seeing Ballard for the second time this season as the teams split the first go around on December 20th with the girls winning 41-30 and the boys falling 58-55. The Tiger girls snapped a 12-game losing streak to the Bombers as ADM senior Kelli Storck led the way with 16 points, and senior Raegan Loewe was the high player for Ballard, contributing with 14 points.
On the boys side, the sixth ranked Tigers in Class 3A will have their work cut out for them battling the fifth ranked Bombers, who gave ADM it’s first conference loss. Ballard junior Jude Gibson is hovering around 16 points per game, with ADM junior Hudson Lorensen at about 24 points per contest.
Bomber girls are 4-12 overall (3-8 RRC) as the Tigers are 10-7 (7-5 RRC). Ballard boys are 12-1 overall (10-1 RRC), and ADM is sitting right behind at 12-3 (10-2 RRC). The action begins tonight at 6pm with the girls and boys to follow at approximately 7:30pm. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF, starting at 5:45pm.
