Tonight the Dallas-Center Grimes Mustangs basketball teams play hosts to the Oskaloosa Indians. Last time the Mustangs and Indians met, the Mustangs picked up the sweep on the road, with the Mustang girls picking up a 48-44 victory while the Mustang boys defeated Oskaloosa 50-30.

When the Mustang boys faced off against Pella, Tate Perrin would go down with an injury, finally returning to action against Newton on Tuesday. Coach Rankin expressed the excitement of seeing the Perrin brothers on the floor together. “Tate first came back after hurting himself in Pella, he is our everything as far as defense. It’s been fun having both Perrin’s on the team and it’s really run when Tate assists his brother and makes a great pass. You can tell they have respect for one another.”

The second battle between the Mustangs and the Indians begins tonight at 6pm as the girls are set to tip off first from DCG High School. Coverage begins on KDLS at 5:45pm.
