The Raccoon River Wrestling Team is taking a good amount of their roster to the state tournament next weekend.

RRW participated in the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union Regionals competition yesterday and had 10 wrestlers advance to state. Girls that won first place matches include Cassidy McCallister, Katie Biscoglia, Natalie Keller, Izzy Duncan, Ellie Hancock, Calista Rodish, Edie Collins, Naomi Templeman, Bella Bruins, and Reese Baxter. Other girls that placed, but are not going to state were Quincy Cooper, Grace Rinehart, and Kadyn Tierney.

RRW continues to maximize a phenomenal season. The IGHSAU State Tournament is taking place next Friday and Saturday, February 7th and 8th at Xtreme Arena in Iowa City.
