The Iowa High School Athletic Association and Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union have announced the State Qualifying meet pairings for bowling. Coach John Woodford and his  Greene County girls and boys teams have been assigned to State Qualifying meets in Council Bluffs. The Rams are in Class 1A, the smallest enrollment size of the three classes of Iowa high school bowling, and the Rams will join other school at Bowlero Thunderbowl in Council Bluffs.

The girls bowl on Monday, Feb. 17 and the boys compete onTuesday, Feb. 18. Competition each day begins at 10 a.m. There are seven schools involved with girls and boys from Greene County, Harlan Community, OABCIG (Ida Grove), Kuemper Catholic (Carroll), and host school St. Albert (Council Bluffs). Boys teams from Carroll high and West Central Valley (Stuart) and girls from Shenandoah are also scheduled to take part.

Qualifiers from the Council Bluffs State Qualifying Meet will advance to State Competition later this month in Waterloo.
