A reminder that tonight is the annual free youth movie in Jefferson that is sponsored by the Greene County Libraries Association and the Greene County Board of Supervisors.

Youth Services Librarian with the Jefferson Public Library Bailey Mount says “Dog Man” the movie will be shown at the Sierra Community Theatre tonight at 7pm and the first 50 kids that are 12 and younger not only get in for free, but they will also receive a free kids tray combo, compliments of a private benefactor. Mount points out that the “Dog Man” book series by Dav Pilkey has been widely popular as books have been flying off of the shelves. She believes that ages between eight to 13 is who has been the avid readers of the series.

Mount says older siblings and parents can also attend, but with paid admission. She adds that all kids who come tonight will be entered into a drawing for a copy of the original book.
