Last night in the Greene County High School gym in Jefferson the Rams hosted West Marshall (State Center) in a Heart of Iowa Activities Conference girl/boy basketball doubleheader. It was Hall of Fame night and Senior Night with introduction of the 2025 Class of Athletic Hall of Fame inductees, as well as seniors and their parents. The games were heard on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.

WM won 66-24 in girls’ basketball and 64-31 on the boys’ side. The Trojans improved to 15-5 for girls and 11-8 for boys. The Rams are 0-20 in girls’ basketball and 3-17 in boys’ basketball.

The girls from Greene County had just seven players suit up and only two scored points. Makenna Ebersole had 14 points and Sara Morlan added 10. Both are sophomores. WM had nine players score points with senior Bella Borgos leading the way with 18 points.

In the boys’ game, senior Isaac Carman scored 11 points and junior Broc Stream added eight. Carman fouled out with 4:58 left in the fourth quarter.

The Rams host Southeast Valley (Gowrie) in a non-conference girl/boy doubleheader on Monday on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
