On Saturday the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs boys basketball team traveled to Waukee High School to take on Roosevelt High and picked up a big 62-36 victory. The Mustangs now advance to 13-5 after defeating the Roughriders putting up a dominant performance as Tate Perrin would hit four big threes for over 12 points from beyond the arch.

This game would almost be a highlight reel for the Mustangs as Luke Lorenzen would have two big blocks against the Roughriders. Brody Bruke would also shine from the center position, with an impressive dunk in the fourth bringing the score to 58-31 in favor of the Mustangs helping seal the fate of the Roughriders falling to Dallas Center-Grimes 62-36.

Both Mustang basketball teams are back in action tomorrow as Dallas Center-Grimes travels to Pella Christian High School to take on the Eagles. The girls go to battle first tipping off at 6pm.
